OKR Expert Joins MyObjectives Program

Alliance Enterprises is pleased to announce that Ben Lamorte has joined the MyObjectives.com community of performance management and gamification experts committed to advancing the emerging best practice known as Management by Gaming.

Lamorte, a nationwide expert regarding the best practice known as OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), is the founder of www.OKRs.com and is an Enterprise Goals Management Analyst with the Eckerson Group. OKRs is a management practice of defining and tracking objectives and outcomes that was invented at Intel in the 80’s and most recently popularized by applications at Google, LinkedIn, Twitter and Zynga. Building on experience gained from 100s of engagements, Lamorte helps teams draft and refine objectives, coaches business leaders to develop focused goals and assists operating teams in completing their most important goals. Clients include Sears, Latham Watkins, and Zin Technology.

Lamorte, in his most recent www.okrs.com blog, introduced Alliance to his followers as “a sparkling new player in enterprise goal management. I recently met Chris Pieper over lunch at UC Davis, where I also enjoyed the best years of my life as an undergraduate. Chris had a sparkle in his eye that took me back to my college days. You just don’t see that kind of sparkle in the business world very often. The sparkle I saw was the excitement for revolutionizing the game of management.”

Alliance just announced plans to launch its goal management software, MyObjectives, to the market later this year. The solution focuses on “team-level scorecards” and builds upon past management methodologies such as Balanced Scorecard, MBOs and OKRs, while integrating game mechanics.

Darcy Fleming, Alliance’s Business Development and Marketing Director, commented, “We are very excited about our partnership with Ben and his community of OKRs advocates. With Ben’s support, we hope to introduce the opportunities for Management by Gaming to the OKR community and to showcase exciting new software options to support implementations.“

Alliance is a seasoned software provider with a long history of supplying organizations and their teams with solutions that improve outcomes and create cadence of success. The MyObjectives solution has been in private beta since October 2014 and has been used internally at Alliance more than 6 years. Qualified organizations will enjoy free use of the MyObjectives software during the open beta period, will receive free Management by Gaming training and consultation and will have the opportunity to influence the final function and feature set prior to general availability, currently scheduled for the summer of 2015.
